I. Daily maintenance points
Temperature and humidity control: It is recommended to keep the temperature of the network cabinet at 18-27℃ and the humidity at 40%-60% to avoid overheating or moisture. High temperature will accelerate the aging of components, low humidity will easily cause static electricity, and high humidity will cause metal corrosion.
Air circulation optimization: Ensure that the cabinet vents are unobstructed, clean the fans and heat dissipation holes regularly, and install auxiliary heat dissipation equipment when necessary. It is recommended to clean the heat dissipation system of industrial switches every quarter to avoid dust accumulation.
Hardware inspection and log management: Check the status of the device indicator light, fan speed and power connection stability every week, focusing on abnormal noise or high temperature alarms. Check the system log regularly to detect CPU, memory usage and network traffic.
II. Deep cleaning
Power off and grounding: Disconnect all equipment power and wear an anti-static wristband to ensure that the cabinet is well grounded to avoid static electricity from damaging sensitive components.
Tool inspection: Prepare a cross screwdriver, vacuum cleaner, anhydrous alcohol and anti-static cleaning cloth to ensure that the tool insulation performance is qualified.
Equipment dust removal: After disassembling the equipment, use a wool brush to gently sweep the dust on the mainboard, and wipe the stubborn stains with anhydrous alcohol. If the slot is oxidized, you can use an eraser to clean the gold finger, and apply hot melt glue to prevent dust after inserting it back.
Fan and cooling system: After cleaning the dust on the blades, add lubricating oil, and use a hard brush to clean the gap of the inseparable heat sink. After cleaning, it needs to be completely dry before installation.
